Immersion Assembly

It was term 4, from having a two week holidays, to getting back to school. At the start of term 4 we had a immersion assembly ‘’which was cool’’ because we was coming back to school. In the morning I felt like just sleeping, my mum kept on telling my to get up but I did not want to wake up but I had to so my mum took the cover of me so I just got up. When I got to school I rushed to the assembly. There were Dinosaurs, zoos, safaris and a noodle eating contest.The noodle eating contest was my favorite. I missed some of the assembly because I was late to school. It was really cool because there were dancing dinosaur. The assembly was about survival.

The assembly was hosted by our principal mr burt he was wearing big sunglasses and weird clothes he was the one who runs the whole school. After the assembly we went back to class and learnt about adaptations to animals and insects that live in the wild. After that I had numeracy. In numeracy we were learning about decimals. Last term we were learning algebra. Finally I went home. The day was pretty hard because you have to get to work than staying at home and playing games. Any way it was good to be back to school.

The robbery

It was sunny day at my house when my mum wanted to have a meeting with us about something but I did not know what it was. She had wanted us to go on a holiday. I felt so excited because It’s been years since we have been on holiday so we were happy to go, but not for long, something happened that was not good about the holiday. 

Finally we got there it looked amazing. There were lots of fun stuff to do. There was pools, swings, playgrounds and a pool table It was amazing. Then… We were all outside. I heard mum on the phone she was talking about a robbery. But I don't know who got robbed it was a mystery.

After that… My mum said that we got robbed I could see all the disappointed faces. They only stole some of my nans precious jewelry and that's it. They would have stole my xbox one, xbox 360 and TV and games but are dog Charlie scared them of.  

Finally the investigators came but they did not solve who did it, but we did have a broken window in my sisters room. So they could have started at my sister's room then moved on to my nan's room, but I do not know. I was worried about our stuff in our house. We were lucky they did not steal everything. We all came back from holiday it was so fun.

Ryan Explanation Craft: How to prevent yourself from getting sick.

There are so many ways to stop yourself from getting sick. You can eat healthy food and you can wash your hands. There are so many ways to stop yourself from getting sick if you keep on reading...

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick, here is one way that me and my group have chosen. Do not share any food or drinks with someone that has saliva/germs all over it. This means you should only share food/drinks with your friends if you haven’t already eaten/drunk it yet. If you do this then you will stop yourself from getting meningitis.

The last way to stop your from getting sick cover your mouth when you sneeze. This means when you sneeze all the not nice stuff comes out of you mouth and nose. That's where all the germ come out of. So when you sneeze wash your hands. Sneeze in your hand so you can wash it off easier. If you do this you will not spread germs.

These are some of the ways to stop yourself from getting sick. If you follow this advice such as covering you mouth and nose when you sneeze, eating healthy and not sharing eaten food, You will have a less chance of getting sick.

On Wednesday this guy called Dan came to are are school he was from a organize ashen called attitude .org.nz. He was crack up he was talking to us about how to be a good friend. One of the things he was talking about `was back stabbing not the back stabbing as using a knife. Back stabbing by talking behind someone back.

Immersion assembly term 3

The immersion assembly is all about money and ways to use it of example what will you do with 20 dollars. There were separate teams team one was about making stuff and selling stuff. Team 2 did ice cream and productions like what is your favourite flavourer mine is chocolate. Team 3 did carers and jobs just like Y M C A we had to listen to that song.


Team 4 was about using a small amount of money and spending it right. Team 5 was all about spending your money right like good guys are the bad guys.

My drumming lessons

In the weekends I went to my drum lessons it was cool because I got to do something instead of staying at home. Before I went drumming I got some new shoes, slippers and a hair cut. I went inside the drumming place the man who is going to teach me showed me to his drumming room it looked amazing I learnt musicale sheets.

After my drum lessons he gave me some drum sticks and then I went home to watch a movie then I went to bed.

How to make pasta and cheese

First you will need to get a pot and put it on top of the oven. The next thing you need to do is to get some water in the pot. Then you need to turn on the oven and start putting the pasta in to the pot while cooking.



Next you take the pasta out and rinse the water in to the sink. Finally you grate the cheese on to the plate which the pasta is in. You can melt the cheese or not it does not matter.

My name is Ryan I come from England but I haven't experienced a bullet through the neck I’m eleven years old and I have three brothers and one sister.

I hope you have fun at England before you get sent back. It must of hurt having a dead ear and a bullet through the neck. I had a surgery on my leg. It must feel weird leaving your family and country to fight for the war. how does it feel being in the war it must of been bad because in the war many people died. Thank you for your serves.

Polyfest

We all got permission slips for something we do not know. I looked at the notes that Miss Clark gave to me. It was a trip notes. So I keep on reading. It was for poly fest. When I got home I showed my mum and she sinned the form so I can go to poly fest I've been waiting since. Finally the day has come and we sat down at the middle of the street when the bus arrived, to take us to poly fest, we went in to the bus on the way there Peso pulled out some cards so we played. Then we arrived all of us had to wait for the offer school, because we were last.



Then we went in, There were lots of stalls in the place. We saw John key at the poly fest.

We went to a place were they told you how to put down fire. They said "what ever you do don't put a cup of water on the fire". He showed us why not to put a cup of water on the fire when he put the water in the fire It shot up in flames. I bought lots of kebab sticks Then we watched all of the people doing dances. Then we went home the end.

In the holidays my cozen came over from England. Her name is Jess. When she came over we went to Rotorua. In Rotorua we went to the luge and we went to the Zorb. The Zorb is when you are in a big bouncy transparent  ball and you roll down a big hill. The luge is when your in a cart going down a hill with bumps and turns. We kept on moving camp site so we can get closer to the fun stuff. Our last camp site had a swimming pool and go carts and a trampoline with the park right next to it.  


Me and my family went sight seeing we looked at the beach, water, hot steam pools, flower garden. We went Taupo as well me and my dad went swimming in lake Taupo. Lake Taupo was really cold. My sister Holly went on the swoop with my dad and my cozen.   

First day at school

My first day at school being a year seven. First we learn't about our teachers. Next we got put in to our class my class number was two. My teachers name was Ms Clark.
